Ticker Talk

Overview

I just wanted to give you guys a huge shout-out!  My son, age 9, attended his first Ticker Talk last week and he loved it!  It was so exciting hearing him tell us all about the Zoom meeting and describe [what he learned about] his defect to us. It hadn’t dawned on me that we have never explained the specifics of Tetralogy of Fallot with him!!  Keep doing what you’re doing – it matters to these precious heart kiddos and families!”   – Parent of a first-time Ticker Talk participant

Ticker Talk is a free, online Camp Odayin meet up for heart kids in grades 1-12.  Our hour together is a mini camp experience, full of campy-fun and interactive trivia, games, speakers and more.  This virtual jamboree is even complete with party favors!  All participants receive a package of treats mailed to their house after attending, and one lucky raffle winner receives a $50 Amazon gift card.  There’s no cost to participate, but registration is required in order to receive access information to join the party on Zoom.  In 2020-2022, Ticker Talk gatherings were hosted on Zoom every other month from 6:30 to 7:30 PM (Central Time) during the school year.
