We are a non-profit organization fully funded by corporate gifts, fundraisers, and donations. To ensure all heart heroes can attend our life changing programs, we rely on donor support. Our Pay-What-You-Can (PWYC) model for camp registrations supports our commitment to make our programs accessible to everyone in our community. There is a $50 registration fee per camper and there is always an option to pay $0. This is a welcome relief for many families supporting a medically fragile child. Your gift will give young people a place where kids play, worries rest, and fun happens and for that we are grateful.

Monthly Donor / Champs for Camp
Become a “Champ for Camp” monthly donor and spread your donations out during the year. Champs for Camp provide us with a dependable base of support! All monthly donors receive an original piece of artwork made by a camper.

Wish Lists
At Camp Odayin, we purchase everything from office supplies used year-round to face paint and colored powder for ‘blue versus green’ at Summer Camp to snacks for parent retreats. Purchases from our Amazon Wish Lists are mailed directly to Camp Odayin’s headquarters in Oakdale, MN.

Honor a Loved One
What a beautiful gesture to make a heartfelt gift during times of great joy and times of difficult grief. We will work with you to share details of these gifts with the family of the person being honored or memorialized to ensure donors are properly acknowledged.

In-Kind Gifts

Legacy Giving
Legacy giving creates powerful, philanthropic gifts beyond your lifetime, amplifies your impact, builds an enduring tribute to loved ones, and sustains our mission. To ensure that children with serious illnesses always have the magic of camp to enrich their lives, remember Camp Odayin in your will or estate planning. In addition, you may name Camp Odayin as the beneficiary of real property, marketable securities, qualified retirement plans, IRA accounts, or life insurance policies. Whatever giving vehicle works best for you, it will have an impact that resonates for generations to come.

Host or Attend a Fundraiser
Rally your friends and family and host a walk in your neighborhood, a Pampered Chef Party, a golf tournament or Facebook Fundraiser on your birthday! We love your creativity and will support your efforts with marketing materials and social shout outs.

I started Erik’s Tournament to give back to kids that have heart disease because there are kids less fortunate than Erik. Camp Odayin became an extension of my mission. To give back to those kids that normally wouldn’t be able to have the experiences that Camp Odayin give them. It’s a simple mission, help those who can help others.

Thrivent members can contribute to Camp Odayin through Thrivent Choice®and influence how Thrivent distributes some of its charitable grant funding through Choice Dollars®. Thrivent pays donation processing fee and eligible clients with membership can also direct Choice Dollars®.

We rely greatly on incredible, good-hearted volunteers to support and implement our camp programs, fundraisers, strategic vision, and office management.
