Fundraiser planning committee volunteers assist with preparations for one of our annual fundraisers:
- Have a Heart Benefit in April – Minneapolis, MN
- Whole Heart Golf Tournament in June – Dellwood, MN
- Happy Hearts Happy Hour in September – Minneapolis, MN
- Big Heart Bash in September – Chicago, IL
- Flannels & Friends in November – Milwaukee, WI
These amazing planning committee volunteers support fundraisers by committing to the following responsibilities:
- Attend monthly planning meetings leading up to the fundraiser
- Identify and solicit potential sponsors and silent auction donors
- Participate in a subcommittee, which may have meetings in addition to the monthly committee meeting – subcommittees vary for each event, but examples include marketing, décor, and games
- Help market and spread the word about the fundraiser
- Provide support volunteering onsite the day of the fundraiser
- Be a fun human with a heart for bringing joy to kids
- Additional responsibilities vary based on fundraiser and subcommittee
