The 24th annual Have a Heart Benefit presented by Abbott will be hosted on April 26, 2025 at The Luminare in Minneapolis, MN. The benefit is 21+ and a fresh event each year featuring a playful atmosphere, delicious dining, and an awesome silent auction. Registration for this fun-filled evening in support of our mission will open in March. The 2024 Benefit…
The Have a Heart Benefit, presented by White Bear Mitsubishi and Volkswagen of Inver Grove, was hosted on April 20, 2024 at the beautiful Minneapolis Event Centers. We were joined by 200 guests who unleashed their inner superhero during this night of action-packed fun and do-goodery! In 2024, we raised over $83,500 to provide heart heroes with a safe space to grow, heal, and thrive.
6-8pm:
- Dine at delicious food stations for superhuman longevity
- Debate superhero showdowns while sipping signature KA-POW cocktails, complementary Colby Red Wine, and non-alcoholic drink samples from Hippie Sips
- Savor the sonic sounds of live music from Bjorn Briel
- Unleash your incredible strength at the Hulk Punch-Out
- Race to justice with your own superhero or villain duck
- Practice your powers of hydro-kinesis at the Penny(worth) Drop
- Grab your glasses and try on a secret identity at the photo booth
- Bid like Bruce Wayne on silent auction items for daredevil adventures or for sprucing up the Batcave
8pm:
- Take a stand to play ‘Masks or Capes’ (aka Heads or Tails)
- Marvel at our mission during a program emceed by Rena Sarigianopoulos from KARE 11 and camper, Cash
9-10pm:
- The heroics, hijinks, and live music continue
