October 16-18,2020 – Amery, WI at Camp Wapo (near the Twin Cities)
November 6-8, 2020 – Camp Lake, WI at Wonderland Camp (near Milwaukee / Chicago)
Family Camp Registration is Closed
Camp Odayin’s Family Camp takes place in the Fall each year. Camp Odayin hosts two Family Camp experiences in different regions of the Midwest. Families may choose to attend either session, but may only attend one. Both sessions begin on Friday with registration between 4:00 and 5:00 pm and run until noon on Sunday. Family Camp is a two night commitment. Family Camp is for families with a child with heart disease, who would benefit from connecting with other families who share similar health, emotional, and social concerns. Families who have a child in 12th grade or younger (no minimum age) are invited to attend. The only charge is $25 per person.
There is no minimum age for children, but parents should realize that they are responsible for the supervision of their own children. Several of our key staff members will be at Family Camp to assist in activities. What does all this fun cost? The Family Camp fee is $25 per person. This fee covers the entire Family Camp session and includes all regular activities and meals. The actual cost to Odayin for Family Camp is $250/person. A $0-$250 sliding payment scale is available during registration to ensure that cost is not a barrier to joining us and also allows an opportunity for families to pay more to help cover costs. If the $25 per person cost would create hardship or be a barrier to attending, we will gladly waive or reduce the fee on the online registration form.
Camper registration is available online in late August. Two weeks prior to Family Camp, registered families will receive packing lists, authorization forms and additional details.
We cover your family’s cost to attend camp if you are unable. You decide the level of payment you are comfortable with during the registration process. The remaining funds will be raised by Camp Odayin on your behalf. If you have questions on the cost of camp, contact the Camp Odayin office at email@example.com.
We offer transportation support by reimbursing your family up to $300 for your travel costs. Contact the Camp Odayin office at firstname.lastname@example.org for details on the travel cost reimbursement process.
