Each year, a Camp Odayin donor offers individuals that have participated in Camp Odayin programs an opportunity to apply for a $1,000 scholarship to support post-secondary education. (Award will be paid directly to an accredited technical, 2 year or 4 year college.). High school seniors as well as current college students can apply, and can reapply each year. 2.75 or higher GPA required to apply.
To apply, write a short essay telling your story and future plans (no more than 500 words).
You may use one of the following OPTIONAL prompts, or write about anything of your choosing.
- What do you think are the important things in living a good life?
- Describe someone that you respect (could be a friend, family member, or your future self).
Please send your essay and a copy of your transcript to Sara@campodayin.org. Applicants will receive a response by April 15th.
For previous recipients of the scholarship: You are welcome and encouraged to apply again. A transcript is not required and instead of writing an essay, please provide an update on how the year went.
The deadline to apply is Sunday, April 6th, 2025.
