Mortimer’s Mates Book Club Virtual Event

Feb 25, 2024
6:00 pm in Zoom!

We’ll be hosting our second annual Virtual Book Club event on Sunday, February 25th at 6pm central time.

While you wait in anticipation of our next in-person get together, we hope you’ll join us in reading the book “Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow” by Gabrielle Zevin. It’s a best selling novel about a group of friends who are video game creators , following them into their late 30’s sharing all the joy and sadness of adulthood. Hop into this journey across time and distance (and pixels) and dig into the universal importance of friendship, human connection, and beyond.

We chose this book because it covers a wide range of topics, keeps the reader on the edge of their seat, and presents some thought-provoking topics that will be great for discussion during our virtual book club.

Even if you don’t read the book or only read part of it, we still encourage you to join us to hang out.  We’ll include discussion questions related to the important topics and themes of the book so all can take part in sharing their voice!

Please register by Saturday, February 24th.

If you have any questions about this event, please email Morgan Freeburg at mfreeburg88@gmail.com!
